Paradise Hoops helped me unlock a new passion for basketball. Not only did my coach help me on the court, but off the court as well. She has been a huge support physically, mentally, and academically. My coach has really helped me find the love for basketball. I'm so grateful to have Paradise Hoops and my coach in my life. Without her dedication to see me succeed I don't think I would be the same person I was before.​

Paradise Hoops has opened many doors for me. This organization helped me come to the US, grow and with finding out what is best for me. Paradise Hoops has allowed me to impact the lives of others and has trusted me as an ambassador to represent this organization . Paradise Hoops has been a blessing in my life.

Paradise Hoops has had a major impact in my life. Not only did it help me with basketball, but also with school. When nobody was there and I felt like doors were closing on me, Paradise Hoops stepped in and gave me a chance.

2022 was one of the craziest years for me. I was constantly stressed out and didn’t know what I was going to do about school. A couple days prior to my life changing, I kept having mental break downs back to back. I was extremely stressed out and did not know what to do with myself. One day, I was at the park with my little brother and cousin. A random lady came up to me and asked me if they were my kids. I said no and she asked me if I played basketball. I continued to answer her questions, but I was confused. I didn't know who she was or why she was questioning me. Out of nowhere, she said to come play for her. I didn't understand. She told me "come play for me and I’ll buy everything you need. I’ll do whatever you need me to do for you. All i need is for you to come play with me." I told her I couldn’t because of my situation at home. She said it didn't matter and we could work something out as long as I truly wanted to play for her . I told her I wanted to play. She called my mom to the park and convinced her to have a meeting at school. Ever since that day Cedricka has kept her word on everything. I can definitely say she DOES NOT SELL DREAMS! Now I am apart of an organization that helps kids chase their dreams. 

Paradise Hoops is not just a team; it’s like family. This organization has helped me academically and mentally. When I had people doubt me, Paradise Hoops stepped in and made me realize I had the potential to succeed in what I love to do. There were a few stages I went through physically, but Paradise Hoops was always there to push me to become better and stay truthful to this game of basketball.

Paradise Hoops assisted my life and helped me to become a better all-around role model. This organization also helped me to become better academically, physically, and mentally stable. They also helped me to realize basketball is not just about skill or how good you are, but it’s about how hard you work and how dedicated you are towards the sport. A lot of people and coaches doubted me and didn’t believe in me, but Paradise Hoops was one of the organizations that saw my potential. This organization inspires me to be the best version of myself, and it also teaches me discipline and self-worth.

Being a part of Paradise Hoops has helped me to grow and take my game to a higher level. This program gave me many opportunities to showcase my talent. Paradise hoops has exposed me to a better academic environment,which has helped me evolve.
